Square Deal Windows Home Improvements’ recruitment process includes checking references from candidates’ previous employers, to ensure they will follow our procedures and meet our standards. It is a requirement that all of our staff are CRB/DBS checked for our customers peace of mind and we have the necessary public and employer’s liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance so you, your family and your property are fully protected at all times when we carry out your home improvements. These certificates are on display in our showrooms, visible for you to see. As well as this, our installers are FENSA, MTC certified and trained professionals that respect you and your home. We are honest, trustworthy, professional and skilful.
Why are Square Deal Windows not members of Check-a-Trade?
Square Deal Windows Home Improvements’ rAt Square Deal Windows, we believe that our customers personal reviews about their overall experience with us is very important and if they wish to leave a 1* or a 5* rating, they are entitled to do so. After completing our own research on Check-a-Trade and their policies, it became clear that if a customer wished to leave a negative review, it could potentially be a very long winded process and may even result in the negative review not being published to the website. It is also known that Check-a-Trade had faced some backlash in regards to 'fake reviews' and had appeared on BBC's Watchdog. After consideration, we made a decision that Square Deal Windows would not like to become members of this company as we are a trustworthy and reliable company that will not jeopardise our reputation, ethics and values.
